With the NBA season starting tomorrow, October 22, 2019, we thought it would be fun to throw our season predictions out.
The Lakers Win the West
LeBron James is still one of the best players in the world and if Anthony Davis can stay out of the locker room and on the court, they have as good a shot as anyone of making it to the Western Conference Finals. To add on top of that the lakers are stacked with Vets and have a deep roster to pick and choose from.
Zion Will Take Rookie of The Year
Averaging 23 points a game this preseason, I think it’s safe to say that the hype about Zion is real. Look forward to him proving that over the course of the NBA season.
Look Out For The Boston Celtics
Kemba Walker and Brad Stevens is a pretty dangerous combo. The Celtics are fresh off a few big player losses. Expect them to be looking to make a name.
Brooklyn Nets Will Enter The Playoffs Again
With Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant leading the way. The Nets being playoff contenders is probably the most obvious on this list; however we can not forget the troubled history of the Nets. Their name appearing for the second year in a row in a playoff conversation is a sign that things are changing.
Most Valuable Player
The choice was between Giannis Antetokounmpo or Kawhaii Leonard. We picked Giannis. The “Greek freak” has held his own for quite some time now, expect for him to come in with a vengeance for this year too.
