Artist, Producer, and Engineer, Fourté, talks Meditation, Hardship, and Inequality in the Music Industry
Fourté, is an up and coming artist, producer, and engineer out of Los Angeles, California. He’s responsible for the sounds of Che Ecru, Madeintyo, and Pollari along with a list of others.
The Connect family has known Fourté for some years now and he’s one of the most genuine and hardest working people we know.
You can be sure to be seeing his name everywhere soon. Here’s what he had to say on Connecting with Purpose+
Who are you? What do you do? Where are you from?
Fourté, I’m from Seattle but based in Los Angeles
What was the turning point in your career? Where were you before that?
Honestly I’d say I haven’t truly reached the turning point in my career, however I did make a pretty big change from focusing all of my time and effort into football before gradually shifting towards music
How has your life experience shaped you?
My life experience has shaped me by throwing difficult obstacles my way in order to prepare me for the journey to come. All hardships were precursors to success.
How do you practice awareness? How do you maintain your best self and manage your day to day experiences?
What are some important issues you’d like to shed light on? How would you do it?
Important issues I’d like to shed light on are the unfair treatment of women in the music industry, the lack of women in the industry, & unethical business practices on behalf of owners of labels, and select few artists and producers.
